bmw_1newBMW5-series_reviewBMW 5 Series sedans – it’s finally here. The internal code name for the F10 key, which is the sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series, and will be at the Geneva Motor Show in spring 2010 launch, and the United Kingdom March 20 in sales starting in 2010. 5 Series Tour Edition (F11 key), will follow next year in September.
So, what’s new sixth-generation BMW 5 Series?

Let’s start with technology: BMW claims that the new 5 series in the first one similar products feature high-tech start-stop, eight-speed automatic transmission, double-wishbone front suspension.

The new 5 Series BMW was also the first one to obtain a new parking assistive technologies, plug into a space for playing with the wheel of the car, allow drivers to operate the accelerator and brake pedals. Like a Volkswagen Touran, and then bit.
In 2010 the new five-year campaign is still exec choice?

Double-wishbone front suspension with rear multi-set match is BMW’s optional drive the dynamic chassis control system provides comfort, Sport and Physical Education + damper settings. Four-wheel active steering system can also be specced, as well as a surround-view camera systems, head-up display, and pedestrian recognition, lane change and lane departure warning systems, coupled with the speed detection of night vision.

Unfortunately, the start-stop technology only applies to the manual 520d, and will not be in the new eight-speed automatic was available only. While the electric power steering system will reduce fuel consumption, we do not want it to give a special feeling of the new 5 series of guidance.

And in view of the root of the current five-match is a steel rear aluminum front-end features, car is all steel. However, BMW still claims a new car can achieve a 50:50 weight distribution.

Obviously, it is the style that matches the weight distribution … we see a very short overhang, a kidney grille, a very tortuous hats, large set of wrinkles on the strong side, so that looks like a 5 Series E90 3 Series, and some taillights are very, very detailed.

2newBMW5-series_reviewThe new look hides a longer wheelbase, from the current five of the 2888 millimeters to 2968 millimeters. This is not quite as long as the five talents between the (San Qian Qi Shi ? ? mm) wheels, but BMW claims that it still makes five series in the longest wheelbase of similar products, and an additional about to be away from the trunk either the car 13 mm. 520 liters of luggage was still with the current five, so can not Audi A6 (546) or a Mercedes-Benz E-class load (540) dragged shares of the same size.
And within the new BMW 5?

This is mainly cancels the 7 Series and 5 million tons, and the dash is – wait for it – tended to seven pairs of drivers, the entire degree. Have the same high-definition displays hidden behind the black panel, unless you often used in the latest of seven, you will notice that it is difficult to promote the new five-year with the car the time difference.

Relative to the current car BMW said it is the addition of standard specifications. Therefore, the leather, the company’s professional radio, Bluetooth mobile phone preparation standards – BMW 520d claimed that the equivalent of £ 2230 worth of additional equipment, despite the modest increase in the price of 125 pounds. In the 520d returns the standard automatic air conditioning, six-cylinder cars get around the lights, and a USB interface. Full-length glass roof and 40:20:30 split folding rear seat option.

Four kinds of different equipment packages will provide new BMW 5 Series in the UK, and dynamic packages to catch up with our eyes: it includes 19-inch wheels, sport seats and a leather sports steering wheel.
There are three or four diesel and petrol engines from launch to March 2010 selection. The scope of the opening 520d, follow up a 525d and 530d, while the gasoline engine range from 1 523i through 528i and 535i, by the 550i will be squandered.

9newBMW5-series-reviewIn the UK’s biggest seller is the 520d, 1995cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood, and BMW’s claim to the most efficient car in the class as part of the stop start technology used as a standard feature. Both the 525d and the 530d will use the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine.

Gasoline Power comes with a 2.5-liter inline six, a 3.0-liter straight-six, a BMW 535i with the latest single-turbocharged 3.0-liter engine 528i the 523i courtesy, scope, flat-topped twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 in the 550i will be will. An eight-speed automatic 550i will be standard on the car selection is cleaner, more fuel-efficient vehicles other types of manual equipment, because of the extra gear. Stop start technology will be followed by launch vehicle, but the paddle will start from a sports car choice.

All cars also come with a manual-shift indicators, BMW’s brake energy recovery system, called misleading, but also the whole range of criteria. All children under age 5 have also come up with a positive aerodynamic (movable cooling behind the kidney grille flap) and low rolling resistance tires.
It sounds like a typical gadget laden car. Where is the soul?

Decide on their own – you can hear our voices of the new five-year action clips (see the first player at the top of the page), and a number of people who created this lengthy explanations. We will soon join the video, because it is available.
