Whether you live on the coast or inland, in the hills or on a plain, in a city or a cowtown, whether your vehicle is new or used; corrosion is always a very serious concern for you car. As my friend Malcolm from Toronto rustproofing center says – all vehicles are subject to at least one of the following factors; snow, rain, salty air, humidity, sleet, rocksalt, home garage mold, wet roads, man-made or atmospheric chemicals, car washing detergents, etc. – all of which accelerates the corrosion of your vehicle dramatically!

Even you have treated your vehicle’s surface with expensive anti-corrosion and car fabric protection products of the vehicle the problem is not solved. Apart from the surface, topside and underside are very vulnerable areas too. This is what you need rust prevention for.

As my friend Malcolm dwells on it further, rust prevention is the process of applying rust-inhibiting materials, waxes or sealers to the underside, topside and inside of the vehicle’s body as well as any other corrosion-risky areas. This is similar but not identical to undercoating which treats only the underside of the vehicle. The gist: rust proofing is something that every vehicle needs!
