Lovely Ford Fiesta

Since its birth in the year 1977, the Ford Fiesta has been one of the most popular cars in the UK. With around eighty thousand superminis hitting the British streets last year, the Fiesta is still a best-seller. However, though British love fast Fords, the lack of its performance version has left many customers disappointed.
Finally, the long wait is over. The new Fiesta of Ford has arrived!
For starters, Ford is going to turn heads with its large, swept-back headlamps, steeply rising waist and high-mounted rear lights. There are three-door styles and five-door styles. Besides, the Zetec S trim adds a neat bodykit as well.
The cabin of Ford Fiesta has Mondeo-style dials and a centre console design that’s been influenced by mobile phones. The large LCD display screen helps to give the interior of the car the same fresh look as the outside. The only gripe is the quality of plastics, as some don’t match the demands of the class leaders.
The latest Ford Fiesta can hold up to five adults easily, and the boot is 281 liters. The cabin doesn’t have the clever seating systems as the Honda Jazz and Nissan Note does, but there are many features more commonly seen in big cars, such as optional keyless start, cruise control, a trip computer, powered mirrors, automatic lights and wipers, plus five airbags, etc. Equipped with so many extra equipments, to improve performance, the Fiesta’s weight has dropped by 40 kilogram while boosting fuel economy and lowering emissions.
The most frugal variant is the ECOnetic, capable of 76.3mpg with a CO2 figure of 99g/km. The smooth, refined unit offers punchy performance, so the car is equally at home whether zipping around town or effortlessly racking up the motorway miles. Improved sound insulation and aerodynamics make the car much quieter than ever, giving it great level of refinement.
Last but not least, the new electric power-assisted steering is well weighted and direct, giving the Ford Fiesta sharp responses and amazing agility on the road. Tight bends and mid-corner bumps can’t upset its composure, while the slick five-speed box has a beautiful feel. Comfort to ride is excellent as well.
