Would it be your Surprise: Suzuki Kizashi 2.4 2011 First View

SuzukiKizashiReview_carzpageSuzuki Kizashi is to evaluate the sale of the UK. This is the first D-sector family car participants from Suzuki, which has historically specialized in small cars and robust, inexpensive SUVs. Can the Suzuki Kizashi really draw us out of our Mondeo and Insignia? Would it be your Surprise: Suzuki Kizashi 2.4 2011 First View.

Suzuki Kizashi GB has a 2.4 Sport imported to Britain for analysis with dealers and selected media. CAR first drive review should indicate whether they are on the wrong track tree – or whether it was a case for a family car from Suzuki in the UK. It looks promising in the parking lot: the design is carved sharp, with a striking face, balanced proportions with a hint of the old school Subaru aggression and a squat rear zippered Concept Car-style alloy exhaust tip.
Suzuki Kizashi 2.4 Sport: Background

The Kizashi is not as big as a Mondeo and the other Leviathon the D-sector. It extends to 4650mm, making it more of a curious half-size classes between Focus and Mondeo – a shade larger than 4569mm Skoda Octavia. It’s really spacious, however: The front compartment is comfortable and there is plenty of room for large adults in series two, although the transmission tunnel meets rear legroom and the sunroof robs headroom front and rear. Boot capacity stands at 461 liters, and it is a large, accessible trunk.
What about the engineering of the Kizashi?

SuzukiKizashiReview4_carzpageThis is a new platform, says Suzuki, lurking under no architecture of its SUVs and smaller cars. The 2.4 petrol engine is borrowed from the Grand Vitara, but upgraded for limousine use. This is the biggest obstacle to the Kizashi: Europeans hardly buy petrol family car, and the 35.8mpg combined economy and 183g/km will be plenty to deter buyers. But says Suzuki, that it is the largest retail bank penetration of UK industry to the Kizashi has more plausibility. With less CO2 tax concerns and probably lower annual mileage, the 2.4 petrol is less of an obstacle, says Suzuki.

It is an unremarkable enough engine. It speeds and quiet you need to make high speed, to reach the demands of sharpish Acceleration 0-62mph in 7.8sec. At higher speeds, the rasps and shows a turn of speed, but do not feel like a quick sedan. In the days when Ford 1.6-liter engines are Ecoboost turns out more power, this engine from the pace in most key indicators.Would it be your Surprise: Suzuki Kizashi 2.4 2011 First View.

After last month’s Frankfurt auto show in the super sports car showdown, such as while many car manufacturers are on the current global economic recession forgotten. This did not last long: it is now back to reality at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, once the sprawling event, will be used only two non-Japanese manufacturers, Alpena, and Lotus. And their DM’s current budget was cut, apparently Suzuki will once again demonstrate its Amagatarai SX4, fuel cell vehicles (fuel cell vehicle) concept, which paint a different time.

First of all, the Paris Motor Show in 2008 as shown in the five-door hatchback again some changes. Fuel cell is shared by General Motors’ Equinox fuel cell vehicle technology. Rated power does not provide the latest version, but Suzuki has said that compressed hydrogen battery produces up to 80 kilowatts of electricity, to serve 91-horsepower electric motor, we suspect that much change. The first V8 Suzuki will show its face in New York

Hyundai already proved that V8 engines are no longer a mistery for the low-end Asian manufacturers. And the word is that Suzuki wants to give it a shot. The Kizashi concept revealed in Frankfurt and Tokyo last year received a great response from the public so plans are made for its mass production in 2009-2010.Kizashi concept

Another rumor says that the designers can’t decide on the form the production version will take so a 3rd version will be shown at the New York Auto Show in March. And here comes the big surprise:the V6 turbodiesel engine has been replaced by a monster V8 that poweres all 4 wheels.

I guess that we’ll have to wait and see if the rumors will become a reality.Let’s just hope they will….Kizashi concept

Suzuki aims for India

I must say that Suzuki’s got balls. Not only have they presented the all new A-Star Concept, but also made plans for a new production hub in India. This car will be presented at the Ninth New Delhi Auto Show in January and will be mass produced in India, exported to Europe and will be Euro 5 compliant! Suzuki A-Star Concept

This makes me wonder…Couldn’t this be the new Suzuki Alto which is scheduled for a Geneva debut in March?

The Japanese company intends to make 1 million units by 2010/2011.Suzuki A-Star Concept
