Renault MPEG2 concept notes on future small crossover

Renault is showing off their latest whacky concept at the Geneva Motor Show – the MPEG2.

The MPEG2 is a small crossover which could hint at the possible future views of competition to the Nissan Juke.
It is the second a series of concepts of Renault, after the Dezir. There are six in a row that says the company, is based around a theme of ‘Circle of Life’. Was the Dezir represent love, drop the MPEG2 on “two people, exploring the world around you” should be while.

The concept is different to anything in the current Renault range, with sweeping curves on front and rear, especially around the front flanks and rear Wheelarches wild. Nose bears a strong resemblance to the Dezir’s holding back some similarities to the latest Megane in some routes.

Renault Clio: Perfectly French

renault_clio_rs_2011_1If there’s one car that’s full of ‘va va voom’ it’s the Renault Clio. The darling of French motoring has been gracing the roads for 20
years, and in that time it has become one of the most popular hatchbacks around. Currently it is the only car to have won European
Car of the Year twice.

The Clio has appeared in a variety of different forms over the years, from small engined runabouts to the truly ‘enfant terrible” ClioSport
V6. One thing has remained constant though- the Clio’s ability to make you smile. It is a pleasure to drive, and in typically French
style, knows it.

The Clio has always appealed because it is full of character and doesn’t require mortgaging a house to buy. Traditionally Clios have
always been known as cheap cars. Even though it has gone up a bit in price, it still retains
some of the cheap and cheerful heritage that made it appeal to the masses in the early days. The design of the modern Clio really does
make you look twice- the word stunning comes to mind.

It is obvious then that the Renault Clio appeals to a wide ranging audience. From new drivers with a 1.1 litre engine to families and
even racers after a V6 powerhouse, a Clio will really do you proud. What’s more, it wants to be driven, and it wants to look good.

One of the best place to shop for cheap cars is online due to
the insanely large selection. You can pick up a cheap Renault Clio without any difficulty, and often with outrageous discounts. In some
instances you can see up to a 50% reduction from retail prices, which can really give you a lot of bang for your buck.

So if you’re a fan of all things French or simply just want a cheap little runaround, the Renault Clio should be your first port of call.
Like Napoleon, the Clio proves impressive things can come in small sizes!

Your Choices for HatchBack: Super Renault Clio

RenaultsportClio_2010Renault is making already hot hatches for feisty, well, actually decades has seldom met and, in contrast to Peugeot, his eyes to the GTI ball. My first car was a 1980 Renault 5 and I remember lusting after the turbo I could not afford, the Clio Williams was promising Pocket Rockets, and a number of models since Renaultsport has left us in no doubt that La aware Regie engineers that one or two of Le chaud hatch.

I have recently been some time in the latest Renaultsport Clio Cup. Now I do not know how about you, but I’m confused too little in the scheme of fast Renaults. A Cup Trophy is here, a pinch of whole numbers and do not get me started on the forthcoming, brand-stretching Gordini models. It is a confection made marketing nuances that makes me wince. But there’s nowt wrong with the product.

A light green Clio Cup is about to join car’s long-term test fleet, which carried by our staff writer Ben Pulman invaluable. He is in the choice of the purist flopped: Cup a stripped-out model. Loads in the search for Junk-36kg over the regular Clio 200, it niceties like air conditioning (a pain in the winter), posh dash plastics and leccy mirrors, and it’s crisp specced some optional Recaro seats. He does not know struggle with cars, Mr. P.

Super Car Today: Renault Wind 2010

Renault_Wind2010Renault will unveil the new wind Roadster at the Geneva Motor Show 2010th Not with the Wind concept car at the same point six years previously imported to be confused, this wind is a production car and was made possible by the hardware from the Twingo / Clio duo.

The French call it a “coupe-roadster”, enabled by its metal folding roof hardtop. But, in contrast to other candidate countries, the new Renault Wind 180deg in a simple roof loadbay flops – we are uploading the video to this story, allowing you the ease of use can be seen in action, go topless takes only 12 seconds of twisting manual locking the electric end of their work.

Renault Wind: a Tigra from France!

The wind is certainly quite diddy. Just 3830mm long, in fact, put it slap bang in the Mini convertible / Opel Tigra area. This is hardly a massive market in the United Kingdom, GM corporal punishment only 2900 Tigras each year.

The soft top is an elegant technical solution. At first glance, it looks like the system on the Ferrari 575 Superamerica, but closer inspection shows mechanism is the wind, to be wiser. When you open the boot with the roof down, depends on the aft deck with the roof stowed in tow. Nifty.

The wind is front-wheel drive with a choice of two engines and five-speed transmission:

• 1.2 Turbo
• 1.6 from the Clio Renaultsport

RenaultWind_2010_2Why does the wind is a two-seater Renault

Despite these bases Twingo, the wind is a pure two-seater. That is enough space for 270 liters of luggage space can be, regardless of the position of the roof. Although we have not yet seen the wind interior, the dash has a unique layout, says Renault.

Expect UK sales of fixed June 2010, price to undercut the Peugeot 207 CC and his ilk from around £ 16,000.
