The rebirth of the 2010 Mustang GT
The Ford Mustang is destined to immortality and I have to say that it’s its right place to be.If you want a car icon there’s no better one than the Mustang.Ford understands this and in 2010 the Detroit based car manufacturer will give us yet anothe reason to smile:a brand new MUSTANG GT.
We expect the new car to resemble the original Mustang but som radical design lines are required in order to keep the car appealing to the nw generation of buyers. It’s hard to believe that Ford isn’t going to sell every one they make.Such an icon won’t remain unnoticed just because of its „cool effect”.You know what I mean…
Mustang FR500S, the racing monster
I was surprised to see a first in Ford’s history. It seems that the American company decided to manufacture and sell a pure bread racer through its authorized dealers and Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog. It’s a premier and many people are happy that it happened now and that the Mustang platform had been chosen for this task.
The FR500S will basicaly be a pumped-up Mustang GT. The specs are plain and simple speed-orientated: a 4.6-liter 3-valve, fuel-injected V-8, Ford Racing cold-air intake, a 6-speed transmission with an upgraded clutch and Ford Racing short-throw shifter and an unique two-way adjustable front dampers with coil springs and an adjustable anti-roll bar in both the front and rear suspension. Driver protection hasn’t been overlooked so the race car comes complete with a racing seat and safety harnesses. With this car Ford aims to climb up the professional racing ladder. The FR500S will make its debut on the weekend of May 2-4 at Road Atlanta.
A good news is that anyone can buy this car from their local dealer but I doubt that you’ll be able to get your hand on one because there are so many enthusists who would just kill to drive a bad-boy like that.

New 2008 H302 and H302SC models were recently revelead by Saleen Automotive and from the first look , it seems that these versions feature some massive upgrades. These models are meant to show reverence to the Pony fan (”H” stands for “Heritage”), while building a legend. With a 302 cubic inch engine, the 302 Saleen Models boast better performance than a stock Ford.
“The 302 engine is the best engine that we have ever done,” said Saleen Powertrain maestro Rob Simons in a press release.
The H302 gets 390 horsepower but if you really love power, you should chose H302SC. Reaching a spectacular 580 horsepower and 525 ft-lb of torque, the H302SC sports a 302 engine matched with a Saleen-exclusive twin screw intercooled supercharger. Both models get a short throw six-speed manual transmission , Saleen Racecraft suspension and 14-inch front vented slotted brake rotors with four-piston calipers. The 19-inch forged aluminum wheels in both silver and chrome is available for the H302, and the H302SC customers receives a specially painted seven-spoke 19-inch forged wheel.
Saleen Vice Chairman Chris Theodore said, “The H line draws its inspiration from the late sixties Boss 302 Mustang, and is a real compliment to the Ford family heritage.” Theodore is also Chief Technical Officer at Saleen.
Production of the H302 had started in October, and the H302SC will hit the assembly line in December. The prices will be $56,999 for a H302 and the SC will set you back $74,999.
