Citroen DS4 voted most beautiful car of the year
The DS4, the second model of Citroen’s premium DS area, one of our “happy cars” that elected perhaps surprisingly “Most Beautiful Car of the Year” by more than 60,000 Web user in 62 countries.
I say it surprised how while the DS4 is distinctive, I can the last year keep launched from other cars, that are perhaps more deserves this award.
Still, at least the DS4 is much more appealing than the C4 on which it is based. It might share the same neat clamshell bonnet and clever surface detail, but the DS4 adds extra pizzazz with LED lights and a curvier rear end.
Managing Director of Citroen, accepted the award at the official ceremony of the 26 Frederic Banzet. International Automobile Festival on 27. January. Next to the “most beautiful car of the year” award overturned the DS4 also another award for the “most beautiful interior”.
The DS4 will go in the second half of 2011 on sale in the UK, and I look forward to a drive.

Citroen C-Airscape, official informations and pics
As we expected , Citroen had published an official press release regarding the C-Airscape future concept. At the exterior of this concept we notice the new form of the front and back opticla blocks and the 19 inches rims. The innovation that Citroen prepares to unveil at the german salon is the collapsable roof made of carbon fiber , that covers a very roomy space enough for four people.
Under the hood of the concept , Citroen prepared a bio-disel based engine , V6 of 2.7 litres and 208 HP , equiped with innovative technologies capable to reuse the delivedered energy.
These systems allow the bord equipment , such as air conditioning or the audio system , to work with regenerated energy. Let’s wait for the german salon to see and find out more about this new and interesting concept.
