Thus, the only one mini roadster convertible version of the Mini Coupe? CarzPage Review: Mini Roadster Cooper S 2012.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Not quite. Both have a steep windscreen than the standard Mini hatch and convertible, but the Roadster is actually around the convertible body-in-white, then stiffened the rear suspension is based. Like the coupe, roadster sports a bigger boat than the more sensible siblings (now 240 liters was 125), but the coupe as the trunk floor is not flat. It is also the same pop-up rear spoiler got a coupe and an optional wind deflector combine clips between the roll bar, and together, in order to create pretty poor rear visibility. As on the Convertible, the Always Open Timer keeps the number of how many minutes you drive around with the roof down &#8211; for what purpose we do not know. As on the convertible, over-the-shoulder visibility is poor too.<br />

There are three petrol 1.6s with either 121bhp, 181bhp (Cooper S) or 208bhp (John Cooper Works) or the Cooper SD model with a 141bhp 2.0-liter diesel. Mini Cooper S expect that accounting for the majority of sales, and as this was the only model that brought the introduction, it is tested here. A Twin-Scroll Turbo, the Cooper S and JCW models, and here there is already £ 177 ft from 1600rpm so you never have to rev the Roadster all the way from his red line. <p style="text-align: justify;">The Sport button (standard on the JCW, optional on the other modes) increases the weight on the steering and sharpens the throttle response, and it is a must if you start chucking the Roadster around want. Forget about it and engage the wheel of the weighting is too bright on the first turn-in flat, the engine feels a bit, and you can not nail a good heel &#8216;n toe shift the well-placed pedals. It&#8217;s only when you press on the mind, otherwise it is in town and on the highway in order. <p style="text-align: justify;">Inmates in a limited edition Porsche 911 Speedster, with its lower windshield and side windows correspondingly lower buffeting suffer more than the regular 911, and it&#8217;s the same story in the Mini convertible. But chief among the problems is that the small rear windows were so if you are anywhere over six feet tall your ears are back behind the back of the glass and are subject to many roaring junked. The inside of the roof is not very nice when it raised either without food, whistle around the metal support beams and the point where the trailing edge of the window seals to the roof suffers from strong winds meet.<br />
As for the interior, I&#8217;m hard to spoil the surprise for me when the dashboard is identical to every other mini-bar in the Countryman. What was once a paragon of quality is now feeling its age with the arrival of the Audi A1, and although the materials used are better than, say, a Mazda MX-5, everything is fairly dark and hard. <p style="text-align: justify;">The sharpest handling Minis have fixed roofs, but the roadster fun to drive. However, it is at risk as the Convertible and the Convertible as it is much more of a fashionista choice. Whether it would come to pick over its more conventional drop-top sibling on whether you have a larger boat and the latest looks Spring / Summer 2012 Catalog has four seats and more refined value. The difference is £ 505 Convertible in the business areas of treatment, but all in all we would sit on the Roadster, if you&#8217;re in the market for either.</p>

<p>Compared with our TDI, the 1.4 petrol turbo was faster next. The 1.4 TFSI is a great motor and fits the character well A1. The trade-off for the fact it&#8217;s more fun to drive? Its 126g/km CO2 emission level of diesel can not double digits. Although our 1.6 TDI 106g/km spits, the latest versions actually snip under 100g/km by a digit.</p>
<p>Our next A1 TDI is slow compared to the gasoline-sports. I think you have to change very quickly in the second &#8211; if you do not, shoot the speed and the car sounds in pain, do it too early and you lose all speed and difficulties remain. CarzPage Review: Audi A1 1.6 TDI S-line 2011.</p>
<p>Apart from the style, gear and step-off at low speed, both A1s shared similar characteristics. This remains one of the smartest small cars.<br />
But as much fun as the racing was, I have a simple personality. For me, I&#8217;m going with my Audi A1 TDI S-Silver Stick. It&#8217;s good for me. Silver fits the Audi A1. There &#8211; I said it. Apparently silver is a uniform color on cars today that it has become rather passe &#8211; I&#8217;ve read a lot of comments about the color of my long-term A1. But I do not agree. A quick look at the car park shows, I&#8217;ve made the right choice. Black only does the job equally.<br />

I&#8217;m worrying that it is a bit too general. That&#8217;s the problem with Audis &#8211; they seduce you with its chic looks, customs-perfect interiors and granite residuals and then suddenly realize that everyone else has had the same idea. Prior to joining CAR I always used to go for a car because I liked it and because it was a rarity on the road. The A1 is too attractive to take off that trick, so I&#8217;m talking about is color. <p>As much as I admire the way our A1 provides (especially in the less frequent ice silver) it&#8217;s a bit like walking into a gym full of muscle-toned men, please contact us with them very boring. Fortunately, the A1 is not a fool &#8211; it has hidden depths, other features to make it interesting. As the rain and light sensors, although this has not come into their own in our Indian summer. I&#8217;m waiting for it to work on this and other party tricks. Meanwhile, I&#8217;m impressed with the Audi sound system upgraded &#8211; it&#8217;s for going through all my mother&#8217;s old music, which it is thrown great.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Thus, the Nissan GT-R is still huge and brutal and undeniably Japanese. And now it&#8217;s even faster, more capable and more entertaining.<br />
Nissan GT-R (2012): What&#8217;s new?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The word &#8220;entertaining&#8221; is what the GT-R is a machine such Marmite. Many people see it has a super-sophisticated all-wheel drive system, a transmission efficiency minimum-input/maximum and read the improbable acceleration numbers and lap times and take on this GT-R is everything quickly and without participation; a car that needs no skill and offers no reward other than bragging pub. More power to persuade is never that vocal group that the GT-R is a real hero car and a dazzling experience.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The cold, hard facts are that this 2012 GT-R was ground in each area: for the first time since its introduction, the GT-R 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine is mechanical and not just by a new configured ECU and uprated exhaust package.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">All in the name of more throttle response and more power the higher rev range &#8211; it has heads, sodium filled valves, new, a revised intake system revised.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The shocks have new programming language, the springs are revised, the transmission shifts more quickly and cleanly, the end wall is structurally stiffer &#8230; The GT-R has even different spring rates and rear suspension geometry from one side to the other to the driver&#8217;s weight into account. It is a typically meticulous job of chief engineer of the GT-R, Mizuno-san and his team of GT-R possessed.<br />

<strong>What is the new 2012 GT-R like to drive?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Oddly enough, when we drove the car on Silverstone &#8220;National&#8221; circuit layout, Nissan would not reveal how much more power it was under that hood bubbling. However, they have now released the new figures of 542bhp at 6400rpm and 466 pounds feet released on 3200-5800rpm (the 2011 GT-R has 530bhp ft and £ 451).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://carzpage.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/nissangtr_2012-carzpage_2.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1582" title="nissangtr_2012-carzpage_2" src="http://carzpage.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/nissangtr_2012-carzpage_2-300x166.jpg" alt="nissangtr_2012-carzpage_2" width="300" height="166" /></a>The price is still unconfirmed, but we would expect an increase of £ 71,950 and £ 75,000 more. That&#8217;s a lot of money for a Nissan, but not a huge amount for a car that goes from 0-60mph in under 3 seconds launched and met 199 (ish) miles per hour. Nissan also offers a track package for the GT-R, which remove lighter wheels from the SpecV, stiffer suspension, a rear seat (plus a new and effective material for the fronts) and a new front splitter made of carbon that channels air to the Disc brakes and apparently reduces temperature by about 100deg under hard use. This is still &#8216;examined&#8217; for the UK market, but will almost certainly be offered.<br />
<strong>Nissan GT-R: check bit</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We drove a standard 2012 model, and it was absolutely brilliant. Silverstone is moist and the GT-R is so fast that you all want security, you can get. It delivers excellent grip and traction, but boy, it keeps you on your toes. The unique four-wheel drive system, the power back to steering transaxle and then redirects to a separate drive shaft when demand is set for agility and to limit flow, but that means it is more likely to oversteer than understeer in greasy conditions and with 1700 + kg slips need to do something constructive.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Freeze now, and &#8211; like any other car &#8211; you&#8217;re in the Armco or the pampas. The GT-R huge subpoena power and grip, but you are ultimately responsible for the anger. So its done.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Fortunately, the GT-R is giving you all the tools to stay one step ahead of the crazy action. The engine has tremendous torque and a newfound focus on the upper end of the six-speed gearbox is completely seamless in terms of speed (it&#8217;s still a bit clunky when maneuvering around a snail&#8217;s pace) and the steering is precise and full of feeling. It is also wonderful on the adjustable brake so that you can set up the car before a corner and go through them as you wish.<br />
Does the 2012 Nissan GT-R feel different enough?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Yes: The engine responds clean, there is a new appetite for the way it&#8217;s speed limiter of the chassis more fluid and all-wheel drive works with more subtlety, and there is less space when braking. These are nuances &#8211; at least on this limited first drive &#8211; but they are tangible. It is more the same, of course.<br />
Verdict</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The comprehensive revision of 2012 will not be won over the skeptics, but let&#8217;s do not worry and instead celebrate an incredible, wonderful, exciting and really super sports car that requires, as a raw chicken sashimi and Japanese as much respect. I love it.</p>

Peugeot Hybrid4: a history lesson </p>
<p>A brief summary of the PSA hybrid solution. The French have long championed diesel, and there are a lot of oh la la was and teeth chattering in the corridors of Peugeot Citroen HQ will include how to turn the world to gasoline-electric hybrids, many of them are terribly expensive, custom-made models with knee high emissions and sky-high price tags.</p>
<p>PSA, with much help from Bosch has come up with what it claims is a much simpler system: Hybrid4. It takes an existing model with an internal combustion engine &#8211; Step Forward 3008 &#8211; and screw on a relatively low 27kW electrically driven rear axle. Clever electronics controls the interaction between the front engine and rear wheel drive electric motor, with not a single physical connection between the axles.<br />
 <span id="more-1566"></span><br />
It means that every model in the range of Peugeot Citroen are hybridized in theory relatively cheap, with a premium of around £ 2500 &#8211; £ 3500 on a regular cooking gasoline or diesel engine. PSA diesel brings the first (because they French / mpg to 30%, due to their benefits), but follow the lead-free hybrids.<br />
 Is the 3008 Hybrid4 work well in practice? </p>

This is really a &#8216;normal&#8217; hybrid car. There are no dazzling controls discourage you, no odd-looking body parts. Their nearest neighbors will be hard pressed to say you&#8217;re driving a clever-clogs sub-100g/km CO2 car. It&#8217;s just that nagging doubt seems to have a price tag of £ 26,995, the Hybrid4 contrary to the 3008 populist roots of the &#8230; Follow cheaper hybrids assure us engineers.</p>
<p>Step on board and where you would normally find the 3008 the Grip Control key, a hybrid controller, so you between ZEV pick for all-electric mode (there will be a RWD run up to three miles, when the battery is full); car (where it all done for you); 4wd (where both axles are powered for better traction on slippery conditions) and sports (where the six-speed automatic transmission clings to longer courses).</p>

Hot hatch, sedan, SUV? Well, it&#8217;s a bit of all three really. The five-door will tend to appeal to buyers looking for you in other small SUVs like the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. But Land Rover sees the three-door coupe or in JLR parlance as a rival for cars like the Audi TT.<br />
It is certainly looks good enough to pull buyers in TT. Is the cabin look like it&#8217;s straight out of a concept car to come?</p>
<p>Not quite, but it&#8217;s still a great place to be. The coupe has a lower roofline than the five-door, but there&#8217;s not a big difference in the back room &#8211; although not always in the back is the work of a moment. Both have real room for four, in contrast to the TT, and Peugeot RCZ. The seating position should suit all shapes, and despite the letterbox rear window, visibility is really good. Apart from the huge blind spot through the ear of the elephant mirrors and door pillar created clunky &#8211; blame the EU legislation on the mirror mess.</p>
<p>Jaguar cars get the rotary gear selector that from the center console, behind which rises a few buttons, which are to optimize the Terrain Response off-road system, switching between match, asphalt, sand and mud settings to the surface. And cars with the optional Dynamic pack get a different icon, a twisty road graphics. Select this and the dials of bright white on a red switch. Our flagship Dynamic felt safe luxurious and well screwed together, but as with cars like the Jaguar XF, there are a few areas to spoil the illusion &#8211; the slight effect of the glove compartment and center console cubby, for example.<br />
<span id="more-1562"></span><br />
Nothing revolutionary. No hybrids, electric motors and no, sorry U.S. readers, not no V6s. There are a couple of four-cylinder turbo diesel engines, a developing country and the other 150bhp 190bhp, plus a 240bhp turbo petrol four, which is essentially the next Focus ST engine. Who gets 150 a six-speed manual &#8216;box of 190, the choice between six-speed manual or automatic, and the 240 is auto only. They are all-wheel drive, bar the 150 that you do without the rear drive shafts for £ 750 saving can. unconfirmed, but appear almost sure that next year is a 300-hp hot hatch version of the 240 petrol.</p>
<p>Nothing like the Freelander, it is very loosely based on. It feels tight, safe and sporty, with much better body control than the Freelander, and nimble steering. Imagine a car with a dynamic stance and cut a small Ford with the vitality of a Mini Cooper combined. Land Rover engineers have talked to want to hot hatch and coupe drivers be able to jump into the Evoque and still feel like they were in a similar machine, and that&#8217;s exactly how it feels. Magnetorheological adaptive dampers are optional and have been fitted to the car we drove. Is awarded for the largest part of the ride, but very rarely the whole car starts Pogo, and that&#8217;s a quality that is much clearer in Sport mode. The body control is good, in normal mode, but the car is much flatter in sports, and also tightens the steering. It improves not feel true &#8211; but to increase the weight makes cornering at moderate speeds, smoother.</p>

It is best described as bubbly, rather quickly &#8211; takes 62 hours 8.5sec miles &#8211; but it is fast enough to make use of the chassis, and returns 44mpg. It&#8217;s impressively refined, unless the wound out pointless limiters, but there is some turbo lag to deal with.<br />
And how does it cope in the rough?</p>
<p>Off road? Few buyers are likely to find out and we have not tried it myself, but we have ridden shotgun next to Land Rover engineers at their test track crawl huge hill and can confirm it does everything you expect a car with a Range Rover badge to . do And if you spend a lot of time to do it on rutted tracks, the adaptive damper is worth shelling out for. You have to not only improve the handling on the road, but even the worst really bad to unsealed tracks.<br />
I&#8217;m sold, and if the price is right, then the car</p>
<p>And that&#8217;s where it comes a little unstuck. A bottom-rung Evoque pure front-wheel drive you back £ 27,955 and comes with leather, but takes 11.2sec to reach 62 hours a sluggish miles. A powerful all-wheel drive Dynamic or prestige on the other costs £ 40k. Add parking sensors, a decent hi-fi, the smart damper and glass sunroof and you&#8217;re on £ 45k edges &#8211; silly money for what is essentially a small diesel engine gasoline. Okay, so it is not the badge, but is really worth £ 10k Scirocco less?<br />
The Evoque looks sensational and is really fun to drive. It is too expensive, but we can not imagine that in the way of sales success.</p>

<p>The Panamera diesel goes on sale from August 2011, and how the hybrid is only available in rear-wheel drive with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic torque converter, not the PDK dual-clutch gearbox, which is offered to all other Panamera.<br />
As the numbers of the new Porsche Panamera, diesel compare with the hybrid? The diesel is a strong struggle: it is 100kg lighter, emits 172g/km CO2 (167g/km or on the optional tires with low rolling resistance) is 159g/km, compared with the hybrid, and returns 43.5mpg, the hybrid is 41.5mpg.</p>

<p>The Panamera was not initially designed as a diesel and the 3.0-liter diesel engine and transmission are lifted directly from Audi. It works in the Cayenne diesel, because the same engine sits higher, and the landing gear can pass under it. But possible in the Panamera, it is not easy. <p>The Panamera, diesel is far from a bad car to punt along a smooth, quick way, but somehow the manual Cayenne V8 gasoline engine is to extract a much more cohesive, more satisfying thing, the most of.<br />
Verdict</p>
<p>The Panamera diesel, is by and large a success. The engine is smooth and willing, attractive figures, the economy, and the interior is a nice place to be. <p style="text-align: justify;">The now-familiar 4.7-liter V8 has now 430bhp (up 10bhp) and £ 361 m (to £ 15) due to improved breathing and precise ignition. A new exhaust system is lighter and (this is hard to believe) yet fruity in sport mode. Perhaps most important of the Vantage S comes with a brand new seven-speed transmission sport shift, the shorter stacked ratios for greater acceleration, and promises significantly reduced switching times.<br />
Sounds good, what was the cost new Aston Martin Vantage S me?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Prices start at £ 102,500 for the Coupe and £ 110,700 for the roadster &#8211; that&#8217;s up from £ 93,995 and £ 102,995 respectively. This is a whole bunch of money and Vantage S rivals could be as varied as the Maserati MC Stradale, Porsche and Audi R8 GT3/Turbo. All great cars.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">But with the styling tweaks (new carbon front splitter, aggressive treatment threshold pronounced rear spoiler and a carbon diffuser), save a low weight (which are reinforced with lightweight carbon seats and forged wheels), and much revised chassis settings that should Vantage S hold their own.<br />

Not quite. It is certainly more aggressive than the standard car and the introduction of the Ascari circuit venue speaks volumes, but that&#8217;s a street-optimized package. Having said that the suspension is stiffer and even lower than the N420 in a limited edition, new six-piston front brake hint at some serious potential and suggest wider tires can be on 19-inch wheels that grip and response is also a leap forward . <p style="text-align: justify;">No complaints with the noise as it comes to rabbits Ascari. It is amazing &#8211; sharp, jagged, angry. The S feels much faster than a standard car, thanks to that small increase in torque coupled shorter gears. It feels more agile, too. A quicker steering helps the car clean between snap change direction and the revised suspension keeps the body in check, even if you threw him from curb to curb-. Of course, this is a front engine, rear wheel drive sports cars and the means, suggesting a transparent balance sheet, great adjustability and a more forgiving nature than anything, grunt and grip. There are some under-steer through corners faster, but that can be easily neutralized and the S-films with real grace, you should have access to a circle and pleasure, they off the leash.<br />
Weaknesses?</p>

However, there is no question this will be a whole company car on bumpy roads is unique in the UK. The seven-speed &#8216;box is to be assessed and difficult, purely on a track like shift paddles (even the bad ones) tend to appear in this environment. What is clear, that it is not the seamless quality of something like an M3 DKG &#8220;box nor the precision. And it has nothing like the brutal speed of the old system installed F1 Ferrari 430 Scuderia.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I can not help feeling that Vantage S would be an appealing package, with a good old-fashioned manual &#8216;box.<br />
So I was just using the standard Aston Martin V8 Vantage key?At this point the stratospheric price premium for looks pretty good considering the S brings styling, more power, a new transmission, steering and quickly upgraded to a more targeted chassis. <strong>Judgement</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">On this evidence, the increase in grip, control and agility makes the S the collection of the Vantage range. Let us hope that still true if we continue on the road.</p>
