The Cadillac SRX is probably the biggest seller in the American re-launch line of cars for Europe. It is a crossover size by the Volvo XC90, but this time the new Caddy SRX has only two rows of seats, they were listening criticism of the last SRX (the seven seats in three rows was) and tried to make this a less like a jacked-up Combined and more like a crossover. While some loss of functionality brings with it may rue, the 2010 Cadillac SRX is in fact a very large thing. The boot is flat and is with Saab-style aluminum luggage rails, the floor is pretty high, but there is a practical storage compartment under the rear hatch of the electrical key fobs, driver seat or back door operated. The rear seats fold flat with a clever campaign to fold the seat automatically, as you lower the backrest.
So the 2010 Cadillac SRX is practical. Space for body, too?

Yep. There is no transmission tunnel at all, which rear access is very simple. You can easily sit three adults in the back: There are a lot of head and leg room and good visibility. Unlike other Cadillacs, we have moved recently and the materials used in the rear and decent quality. The front seats can be cheaper after a few shots, but. The ashtray behind the shift lever is poor as a child’s paper mache half-term project and the chocolate into our test car was omnipresent. Shinier Corvette:Cadillac 2009 XLR

Cadillac 2009 XLR

Cadillac recently revealed its Shinier Corvette: the new 2009 edition of the XLR Roadster, featuring styling and model enhancements providing more dramatic design and technology. For 2009 Cadillac XLR will be offered in only two versions: luxurious XLR Platinum and the high-performance XLR-V.

The XLR Platinum is powered by a 4.6L Northstar V-8 engine that delivers 320 hp, while the XLR-V is powered with a 443 hp 4.4L Supercharged Northstar V-8 engine.

The 2009 Cadillac XLR includes a new front fascia, new rear fascia and new side fender vents. The revised design is inspired by the award-winning CTS sport sedan, delivering more detail and aggressiveness to Cadillac’s roadster. The front fascia includes new fog lamps and specific upper and lower grilles for the Platinum and V-Series models. Also, both ’09 models feature the distinctive hood with a raised center section that was previously exclusive to the V-Series.

Although its another overpriced, rebadged, shinier Corvette, we still impress by the nice engine, great looks and interesting features within the Cadillac 2009 XLR. We will continue keep an eye on the following news on Cadillac 2009 XLR…

The saviour:Cadillac CTS-V

The US car industry just can’t make it on the European market.I mean there are a couple of exceptions but in general America loses ground by the day.A solution had to be foud fast to stop the reign of 3 models: BMW M5, Mercedes E63 AMG and Audi RS6.

The solution,the Cadillac CTS-V.It has just been launched in its 2009 version.

Design wise I’m not sure the Americans will know how to appreciate it.Europe will just chose to ignore this car altogether,wich is a sad thing.I personaly think that the design Cadillac has adopted is a very cool way to reinvent a brand.

mechanicaly this car will be able to stand against its European rivals mainly because of its beautilully engineered susspension.Also it has great stability and traction control systems.
under the hood we’ll fiind a 6.2 litre V8 that deliveres 550 HP and 745 Nm of torque.That puts the CTS-V above the M5 and the E63 AMG but under the wonderful RS6.The 6 speed transmission sends all that power to the rear wheels via some padles on the steering wheel.

I’m sure that Cadillac won’t bring the Detroit muscle back on its feet but it’s a admirable atempt.

L.A’s too far away

At least for Cadillac it is.The American company couldn’t wait until the Auto Show to unveil its latest creation:the new Hybrid Escalade.

I was starting to wonder where would the manufacturers take this hybrid fashion but Cady showed me that even a green monster can behave.What I mean is that even though the car has the same V8 engine the appetite has been reduced to 50% through some very well thought technologies.Some of them are Active Fuel Management and Late-Intake Valve Closing.It also features a start&stop system and an electric motor.

Unfortunately the green Escalade only comes in 2 colors:white and black.Thank God for all the tunners that will not be able to keep their hands of this car.Even though the interior is slightly modified,I don’t think that it will be speared.

The Cadillac is always best know for its premium quality cassette players. A decent cassette player with CD changer controls is all that a Cadillac driver can hope for! And the Company at all times regards its customers. The Hybrid Escalade has the standardized audio and CD system like that of a genuine sony cd changer.
