Smart watch out: BMW Isetta comes!!

A new model that can be placed under the Mini,which is mini’mini? There were lots of rumors about BMW in recent days. We can’t give you a positive answer to that question yet, however I can give u a preview: showing you a rendering of how it may look the BMW Isetta, the iconic model from the 50’s.
Another things is that, the model looks much better than the Smart Fortwo.

X5 by Lumma Design

Not many of you have heard of Lumma Design but I have to say that they have done a great job with this X5.

Design wise,the front spoiler,side skirts,rear spoiler and aileron realy bring an American touch to the European car.Not to talk about the 22 inch rims that complete thie transformation.

The engine or engines to be exact,are the 3.0d and 3.0sd.The 3.0d has been pumped up to 275 HP and 600 Nm and the 3.0sd now developes 330 HP and 660 Nm.

All in all the tunner had a good idea but it should have given up on trying to turn this car into an American bling car and maybe transform it into a true European beauty.But that’s just me…

Spy work:BMW 135i

The tii series,not long ago just a promise for the future,materialised now a new car:the 135i.BMW made a true „sporty” car.Most of the components have been borrowed from the concept,including the front portion,wich had been aggressively redesigned,the lowered side skirts,the carbon fibre difusor and the spoiler.

The brakes can easily stop a tank and the engine remained the same.

The steering wheel is the star of the dashboard with its many LEDs that will tell you when it’s best to change gears.

It’s still an M3,only better!

Nobody expected the release of the M3 till March as the Bavarian automaker was thought to be focusing on the X6 or the turbodiesels unveiled at the Detroit auto-show.
After some pictures and specifications wore posted on a German website, BMW decided to give up the secrecy and go with the flow, supporting the hunger for details concerning its V8 hard-top convertible.

Probably the most important difference between the Convertible and the Coupe is that the previous SMG transmission (which proved unpopular among some fans) was replaced with the new M DCT seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The new transmission will also be available for all bodystyles of the M3 after the Cabrio’s release.
Not that we ever thought it would, BMW had no intention of sacrificing safety features. That is why the new M3 is 450 lbs heavier (folding metal and electric motors) allowing you to enjoy the sunshine without being concerned about your own security.

As for performance, there’s not much more to say really. With the new cog swapper and the M-tuned 4.0 litres V8 you’ll be able to outrun most cabrios with traditional manual transmission by making the sprint in aprox. 5.3 seconds.

The forth generation of the BMW M3 respects its unique and consistent tradition. Inspired in design by the 3 series Convertible, yet preserving the high-performance of typical BMW M the BMW M3 Convertible didn’t let us down. It remains exquisite and powerful. Its low waistline and muscular, low-slung rear end, its dynamically stretched silhouette and its characteristic front end with large air intakes are all backed up by a V8 developing a maximum output of 309 kW/420 hp; maximum torque is 400 Nm/295 lb-ft at 3,900 rpm; and maximum engine speed 8,400 rpm, able to preserve optimum muscle and thrust throughout the entire range of engine speed.

The BMW M3 Convertible meets even the toughest demands made of a respectable sports car transferring motorsport technology in everyday motoring. With a full spectrum of options to meet any expectation, BMW’s new release is definitely one of the best in its class.

2009 special-the new 5 Series from BMW

Another car that arrives in 2009 will be the 5 Series from BMW.The new designer, Chris Bangle,really made its mark on this car.We can clearly see some changes on the exterior,but everall this car is similar to the E60,the first model that Bancle tikered with.The same model predicted the design turn BMW will take.The 5 Series is expected to borrow the front from the CS concept and with a little help from the some LEDs the designers will transform this car’s nose.

And since everybody care s about the planet nowadays the Germans thought to boost the sale by introducing the Efficient Dynamics technology that comes standard.

And now for the fun part:engines.As ussual you’ll have where to choose from: 3.0 liters and 306 HP, 4.0 liters and 408 HP and a 5.0 liters V10 that puts out 500 HP (petrol),3.0 liters and 245 HP and 3.0 liters and 300 HP (diesel).And also a 4.4 liters V8-400 HP.
