It’s been with the old for a variety of models in 2009 provoked some teary-eyed goodbyes happy told a couple of them at the factory door hit them on the bumper on the way out. We pick the happiest and saddest farewell of the year.

1) Honda S2000

6) Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Never quite the sum of its high-tech parts, and certainly not enough to have been sold at the asking price of £ 314k – only 1700th Too heavy? Too nervous? Too expensive? And rightly so.
