Renault Megane Coupe Concept stuns Geneva
It might seem just a concept and for now that’s exactely what it is but Renault Megane Coupe will be a production model. The concept shows us the overall lines of the new model and the new range actually. The actual production model will debut at the Paris Auto Show and will most probabily replace the current model next year.
What stikes me is the resemblance with the new Laguna. The Gulwing doors are there just to impress and to give the car a futuristic feel. The interior is also from the future and nowone can imagine it in a production model(at least not for the next 10 years anyway).
The back reminds us that the current Megane hatchback isn’t dead yet but it shows its age.
Even though the actual car will be more down to Earth, this concept is a great feat of engineering and the guys over at Renault proved that even if they’re French, that doesn’t mean that they have to make nice and cudly cars.Good for them and I hope they keep it up.
Mercedes SL 63 AMG debuts at Geneva
Mercedes Benz brought to Geneva, besides other cars, the new SL 63 AMG.I don’t know if „new” is accurate since it only received a facelift. This model will replace the SL 55 AMG and comes with all new bodykit, darkened headlamps and tail-lights and new 19-inch alloy wheels.
The power is provided by a 6,3 litre V8 that doesn’t let you down with its 525 HP and 630 Nm.That’s much better than the old SL 55 AMG but when we look at the actual performance figures we see that the 63 is slower to 100 km/h with 0,2 seconds.
The suspension and gear box will also be brand new making the car as safe and as confortable to drive as possible.
Vulca V12-the Italian beauty
Geneva is now open for business and the first car that I want to talk about is a beautiful Italian masterpiece:the Vulca V12.
You have got to give it up to the coach buildr Faralli & Mazzanti for a trully awseome supercar. This model is all aluminium and iys retro look gives you a slap when you try to underestimate it.The guys over at F&M did not dissapoint when it comes up to performance od driving dynamics. So,you can choose from 3 engines.A 6 litre V12,that deliveres 450 HP and 600 Nm.This will set you back 280.000 euros.
the second configuration is a 7,1 litre V12,520 HP and 730 Nm.That costs 320.000 euro.
And for the adrenalin junkies there is a 7,5 litre V12 t5hat comes packed with 600 HP and 800 Nm and a price tag of 340.000 de euro.

The Italians didn’t mention any figures but I believe that given the engines alone this car can stand proud with any supercar today.
And because if it’s Italian it has to be exclusive, the Vulcan V12 is hand built in a 2+2 configuration and will most probabily fill the hearts and garages of collectors since only 10 will be made.
Kia Soul Burner Concept Gets Early Reveal At Geneva Auto Show
Here we go again with another car revealed at Geneva Auto Show, this time we’re talking about a new concept from Kia, called the “Soul Burner”. Because of its black outside tattoes, this concept looks more like a beast than like a normal car. Kia Soul Burner is a small SUV and can be a lifestyle car for the young and young at heart.
At the exterior of the car we can see its L-shaped day-light LE driving lamps on its front bumper and two vertical exhaust pipes on the rear bumper. As far as you can also see, the Soul Burner is black, with the exception of the red lower front air intake, wheel rims and door mirrors. At the interior there are four sports seats with a dragon scales pattern keep everyone in their place, focused on the matt red, black chrome and deep black interior components.

The Seat Bocanegra Concept-Geneva preview
The current Ibiza has been on the market since 2002 and now a generation change is on its way.Things aren’t moving as fast as we would like and just now the Spanish manufacturer will unveil at Geneva the Bocanegra concept. This concept will show us how the new Ibiza will look like.
From the design point of view this concept dares to be very different from the model we know and love and maybe that’s a good thind. Why?you might ask?Because this segment has been „renewed” with some interesting models: Ford Fiesta, Fiat Grande Punto, Opel Corsa, Mazda2 and it would be ashame for Seat to drop behind.
We know that the production model won’t look as well asthe concept but some good changes have been made and we think that the market will appreciate them. The engines will resemble the ones under the hood of the current generation and the base model will have a 1,2 litre petrol engine that will develop around 70 HP.
VW Scirocco is finally here!-Geneva preview
The guys over at VW haven’t yet unveiled the new model as they await the Geneva Auto Show to do that but a few pics have „leaked” on the Internet.
Resembling the Iroc concept, the new Scirocco won’t disappoint the fans that still dream of the first and second generations from the ‘70 and ‘80.
We’ll probably see a slightly modified Golf platform but the car is for the racing enthusiasts even though the Scirocco is a volume car with base engines with just over 100 HP.But those that want more power can choose the 200 HP 2 litre turbo engine and VW will most likely throw in some TDIs(105 HP, 140 HP and 170 HP).
The DSG transmission is also expected as optional and the interior which won’t be so different from the Golf will have sport seats.
All we have to find out is the price and if the tuning market will appreciate the new car.
