Cars that are Not Cars

Technology is changing rapidly. The best invention during the 90’s may not be the best now. This only proves that modernization is approaching. In fact, there are lots of inventions and discoveries that will or are now changing man’s lifestyle. Among these discoveries and inventions are the so-called nanocars. Although its name has a ‘car’, it doesn’t mean that it is really a car. So what is it?

Nanocars are called that way due to its movement reflecting that of vehicles. They are actually complex molecules that are wheel-rolled. Such rolling is steered by electrical fields and any other driving forces. Nanocars can drive along thin films of gold, while nanotrucks are able to carry payloads. However, nanotrains are molecular box cars. They come into realization for 8 long years of hard work and engineering. What’s exciting is they are only few nanometers long. Imagine how thin are they? Thinner than human DNA! Their main role is to act as tools for chemical reactions for future use (building microprocessors for example).

Nanocars behave like a car. Plans were made to utilize them for real cars. Have you imagine how scientists, engineers, inventors, and the likes will do that? Think of it!
