Some of you might be familiar with the Riviera model from Buick.GM started to produce this car in 1963 and untill 1999 it sold 1.127.261 units.And now a new concept with the same name will be presented at the Detroit Auto Show.As you can see the design is a radical one but has some classic lines resembling older Y-Job(the first concept car in history) and Le Sabre models.buick riviera

You’ll never guess who helped with the exterior: SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation).I’ve got to admit that the GM-SAIC colaboration really paid of .The body is mainly made of carbon fibre and with its Gullwing doors,this car stands out.The interior is modern,even futuristic.A high-tech lighting system reveals the complexity of the dash board.

Will we see Buick’s rebirth with this car?Will we see more Buick cars on European streets?I’m sure that this car will make GM’s dreams come true so all they have to do is mass produce it.buick riviera
