Enzo beating police car!

Don’t worry, its just an experiment made by the guys from Caparo along with the british police in order to show the level of equipment in the not so distant future.

A T1 Caparo has been upgrated with a V8 that puts out 480 HP at 10.500 RPM and can get from 0 to 100 MPH in just 5 seconds with a top speed of 322 km/h.All that performance is also due to its amazing weight of just 470 kg.

Ferrari theme park

This year has been one of the best for Ferrari for 3 reasons : one F1 pilot title, 60th anniversary and bigger sales than ever.In order to continue the triumphal march the guys from Maranello said that they will build a theme park on a total surface of 250.000 square metres at Abu Dhabi.

Work began last saturday and the special event has been celebrated at a cocktail party at wich Luca di Montezemolo took part.
During the ceremony a capsule was buried containing a piston and a rod used in the 2007 season,parts that are set to be dug aut in 2047 when Ferrari will be 100 years old.
When the park will be finished, in 2009, it shall have its own circuite where people will be able to take driving lessons.

A hybrid Q7 by the end of the year

Nowadays every respectable car manufacturer MUSt have at least one hybrid model.Considering this,Audi set its mind on conveting the Q7 by the end of this year.A 51 HP electric motor will be implanted to the car,powered by a 288 V battery.The engineers estimate that the fuel consumtion and the CO2 emissions will drop by 23%.The regular engine will be a 3,6 litre(280 HP,375 Nm).

It has to be said that Audi tryed to keep the peeformance up to their standards so the car accelerates from a stand still to 60 MPH in 8.5 seconds but the ecologic part is stongly accentuated by the lowered CO2 emissions (from 309 to 237 g/km) and fuel comsumtion (from 18.5 MPG to 24,2 MPG).

Porsche doesn’t want to divide VW(for now)

Porsche’s spokesman said that the information according to wich the Volkswagen group will be divised is completely wrong.Porsche owns 31% of VW.

Volkswagen is currently protected by a law that doesn’t allow a potential take-over.The German goverment announcet that it will take messures in order to modify this law,wich was declared illegal by the highest European court house.

Loder1899’s Ford Mondeo

It seems that the guys from Loder1899 got fed up with Aston Martin and Bentley so put on their working gloves and tricked aut the new Ford Mondeo.

The 20 inch wheels and carbon fiber finish set the car apart from everything on the street and give a strong clue about ones personality. Luckely Loder1899 like to get the job done so they straped a few more things on:an integrated rear difuzor, dual sport exhaust,a sport suspension kit that lowered the car with a good 35 mm. All these make the new Ford Mondeo a one of a kind car.
