1 million euro Lamborghini

Sources inside the italian brand Lamborghini had declared that the they are developing a super sport model that will cost 1 million euro. There aren’t any details about this new model and we think that Lamborghini will build just 20 units.

Last week , a 25% scale model was presented on the Santa Monica California airport to a group of possible clients. Lamborghini had already announced that they will present a concept at the Auto Salon from Frankfurt but it seems that this car had already found its clients who already deposited a 300.000$ in the italian brand’s account.
We don’t have details regarding the engine but the maximum power it seems to be bigger than 700 CP and the engine configration V12.

2008 Nissan Altima Coupe, a gorgeous car

The new 2007 Nissan Altima Coupe is the poor man’s G35, as long as the financially challenged don’t mind moving the coupe’s motivating wheels up front. Though given a shorter wheelbase and shorter overall length than 4-door Altima, the Coupe looks like a cross between its sedan sibling and rich cousin, the Infiniti G35. Ahead of the doors it’s all Altima, but aft of and including the C-pillar, it’s all G35. The broad and defined shoulders that flow over the rear fenders and into the trunk are just gorgeous if you ask us.

The Altima Coupe will be staring down the Honda Accord Coupe and Toyota Solara Coupe in the marketplace, as well as perhaps the Pontiac G6 Coupe and Chevy Monte Carlo. It will be armed with either a 170-hp, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine or the yummy 3.5-liter VQ V6 rated at 270 horsepower and 258 ft-lbs. of torque, both available with either an Xtronic CVT or 6-speed manual. The interior is standard Altima stuff, except for seats that are more deeply bolstered, and the backseat doesn’t look suitable for anyone other than Frodo and friends. Nissan hasn’t released any info on price, but the Altima Coupe will arrive in showrooms next summer as a 2008 model.

While planned and developed for, and built in the U.S., this front-drive coupe was styled in Japan in hopes of attracting young and young-thinking buyers who demand transport with more personality if less practicality than the family-oriented Altima four-door. Aside from its aluminum hood, the Coupe shares no body panels with the Sedan, instead culling numerous visual cues from the 350Z and Infiniti G37. Despite changes in several key dimensions and unique sheetmetal, it maintains-and marginally enhances-the outstanding structural qualities of the basic D-platform architecture that underpins all Altimas. Reinforcing its redrawn proportions and edgier lines, the Coupe also boasts a faster windshield rake, a 2.5-inch-lower roof height, and a more Z-like side-glass treatment. While overall width remains 70.7 inches, the wheelbase was trimmed from 109.3 to 105.3 inches, and the overhangs were shortened, dropping the car’s length from 189.8 to 182.5 inches.

Inside, the Coupe provides a more intimate space than the Sedan, with all key dimensions scaled down slightly. However, six-footers will still feel right at home up front, and you can stash a pair of average-size adult friends in the aft quarters-at least for short-distance runs. The belted-for-three 60/40 bench also folds flat, enhancing utility of its rather modest 7.4-cubic-foot trunk. To further play up its enthusiast orientation, the Coupe’s bucket seats are more deeply bolstered and a console-mount fly-off emergency brake replaces the normal foot pedal. Beyond those elements and slightly reworked door panels, the package mirrors the look and feel of an Altima four-door, from legible instrument cluster and finger-friendly levers and switch-gear to tri-binnacle center dash vents and metallic accent bits.

F700, the new Mercedes limousine, comes to Frankfurt

Mercedes-Benz will present at Frankfurt the new F700 limousine , a concept that will redefine the word luxury. All auto constructors are preparing for Auto Salon from Frankfurt by presenting teasers or official photos of the models that they will reveal for the first time in september.

Mercedes-Benz officially announcted that they will bring to Frankfurt a big number of models and concepts , 18 german creations will be waiting for their debut on the german salon. At this edtion , Mercedes will try to underline the ecological traits of their creations.

The first “actors” that Mercedes announced on the Frankfurt scene are the C-Klasse sedan’s break version and a lot of models equiped with Bluetec engines and a new sort of hybrid vehicles.
The german contruct will bring to Frankfurt a new concept called F700 , that will redefine the word “luxury”. F700 will be equiped with DiesOtto propulsor , the newest Mercedes engine with 1.8 litres and 238 hp. As Mercedes officials declared , the new concep will have almost the same dimensions as S-Klasse limousine.

Maserati Quattroporte

As we slowly maneuver a silver Maserati Quattroporte out of our Florentine hotel’s parking lot, a horde of motor scooters appears from nowhere. Millimeters away, the riders seem oblivious to their vehicles’ mass relative to our executive limo. Judged by their lane “discipline,” you imagine these guys play a lot of the old Frogger video game. We ease off the throttle. “After you, Antonio…”

Uncharacteristically, the scooters don’t buzz into the distance. One rider points animatedly toward our car, and we’re about to raise a hand in the international sign of apology (we’re sure we’ve broken some unwritten Italian road rule) when we spy a smile beneath his white helmet. With a warm nod of native approval, he and his two-stroke crew hit the gas and speed away.

The locals’ reaction conjures up memories of the previous day. We first saw the Quattroporte at its 2003 Frankfurt auto salon debut and in Detroit, but were less than stunned. Chalk it up to the usual auto show sensory overload and the parking garage atmosphere of fluorescent lights and low ceilings. But this time, as we walked toward Maserati’s Modena headquarters, we stopped short of the large glass doors and exhaled deeply. Outside sat two Quattroportes, black and silver paint glinting in the early morning sun. Away from the video screens and crowds of public relations riffraff, the sedan exudes a stately elegance and raw beauty missed in most of today’s European luxury flagships.

Credit the sexiness to Pininfarina, which joins Frua, Bertone, Giugiaro and Gandini on the Quattroporte designers’ roll. It’s Pininfarina’s first Maserati in more than 50 years; the original collaboration ceased when the iconic styling house/coachworks turned its attention to Enzo Ferrari, who would never allow his preferred partner to work with his local rival. Ironically, with Ferrari’s relatively newfound command of Maserati, Pininfarina returns with Maranello’s blessing-if not at its behest. While we couldn’t pry a full-fledged confirmation out of the on-hand corporate contingent, expect Maserati’s next Coupe and Spyder to carry the Pininfarina badge, not Italdesign-Giugiaro’s, on their flanks.

Kia announced a new coupe concept

Kia surprised the whole world by announcing a new coupe concept that will be officially presented at the Auto Salon in Frakfurt. The koreeans didn’t gave us to many informations regarding their new project and it doesn’t know how will it look. Kia announced that the future concept will be a coupe 2+2 that will be made for the european market.
This coupe was created and developed by the Kia design center from Europe , the project being coordonated by the boss of Kia designers from Europe , Peter Schreyer.
We will have to wait for the Auto Salon from Frankfurt to see the look of Kia’s new project.
